Would you believe it's been a whole 27 days since I last posted a duck photo?
This is one of 6 ducklings that have been visiting since Saturday. Three yellow ones and three normal mallard ones and around 5 days old. We think the ducky daddy is Timothy, we called him that because he's white, like the chemists. No sign of him though, they normally clear off to the beck when mum starts sitting.
If you look really closely I think there are the remains of a bug in its mouth, there's something very lovely about watching baby ducklings chase bugs!
This beautiful capture greeted me as I opened 365 on a freezing morning, it is just gorgeous and immediately brought warmth to my day. Thank you Suzanne :))
