Hobbiest photographer with occasional delusions of grandeur, and several cats. Several years here on 365 project, after a few years on Shuttercal before that. You...
@rickster549 Yes, definitely. Places here in NJ are only allowed up to 25% capacity, and I don't think they were even that full. I cropped out some space, but we were easily 25 feet from the singer, and at least 15 feet from the nearest occupied table. Thank you! @ludwigsdiana Yes, we do too, and it is hard to come by these days. They are allowed to perform here now, but reservations are hard to come by at the places our favorite local bands are playing due to capacity limits. Some of them were livestreaming, either while out or sometimes from their homes, but it's not the same, and now that they can play in public they mostly don't do that anymore. Thank you!
Most of the places around here are operating at the same capacity but it's not really helping. However the general mindset it "better opened on a limited basis than not open at all." No live music yet though. Good shot.
@beckyk365 It was nice to get out for sure, but it'll be much nicer when we (hopefully!) start moving back to more normalness. Thanks! @olivetreeann The restrictions helped at first, but here there are some places and some people who for whatever reason don't think the rules apply and just contribute to the spikes and the suffering. We stick to places that are following the rules as best we can tell, and even then if a parking lot looks too crowded we just keep on going to somewhere else. Thanks!
