Derelicts at Topsham

I photographed these boats when I was in in Topsham 2 years back and to be honest I was amazed to see them still here.

I always think that there is a level of dereliction where the decay reaches the point where it takes on a certain beauty of it's own. These boats are certainly well on their way to that point.
A beautiful picture. It always seems a shame just abandoning them like that.

Great pic-love the simple rustic colours of winter & also the reflection. There are some great walks alongside the River Exe.
