Our Ship by swillinbillyflynn

Our Ship

This ship is a German vessel built in 1930. It is called the Kajsamoor, which is Nordic for "Mother of the Wind Troll".

She has a very interesting history and was requisitioned by the German navy in the second world war and used to deliver replacement torpedoes to the German U-boats out at at sea.

She has very recently been purchased by the Square Sail shipyard in Charlestown and the owner has agreed that us Pirates of St. Piran can use her as our home base and a meeting/practice venue. In return, we will put on several shows on the quayside during the summer to entertain the tourists and visitors to this historic port.

We hope to forge a long and mutually beneficial relationship with The Square Sail team....... and at last we have a tall ship we can call our home.

What an exciting barter! Great opportunity. Enjoy your pirate ship then!
