We have two of these creatures standing guard either side of our front door. I think they are meant to be ferocious looking beasts...... but we call them the Scoobies............... because they remind us of Scoobie Doo. :)

. We have an early Victorian house which retains most of it's original features, like huge floral light roses and stained glass windows. so we try to maintain a bit of sympathetic Victorian ostentatious and ornate interior décor. More maximalist than minimalist. :)
