The bad news...........My old friend and constant companion for the past 7 years. My beloved Canon EOS 650D has reached the end of the road. It has been used and abused and has given it's all through rain, wind snow and storms It has a shutter count of about 600,000.
It is still working but the touch screen is starting to get a bit unpredictable and trixie. So it is time to put it out to grass and relegate it to the position of backup camera.
The good news is that I have a nice new Canon EOS 850D coming on Tuesday.
I did consider going mirrorless. but being heavily invested in 6 very nice EF and EFS lenses........ I though I would stay with what I know and am used to.
I wasn't expecting to post this in the fiveplustwo-faulty theme this week but it only seems right, as a tribute to an old and much loved friend.
Oh no, I have a Nikon D90 on a ticking clock as well.
