We camped in a field in the middle of nowhere on Dartmoor. The farm had a mile long track to get to it. It was so silent and peaceful. and the birdsong was amazing in the mornings.
It was the first time I had heard a dawn chorus of birdies for I don't know how long....fortunately I dropped back to sleep....it must have only been about 4 a.m. !!!!!
