The Wildwood by swillinbillyflynn

The Wildwood

In some remote corners of Cornwall there are still ancient woodlands. Places where the greedy uncaring hand of mankind has not touched. There are no car parks, no fences, no paths, no signposts, no litter, no people, no traffic noise. Just the beauty, tranquillity and serenity of nature. The only sound is the cracking of dry twigs underfoot and the song of the woodland birds. It is a place where you expect to see fairies, piskies and dryads peeking out from the undergrowth.

These are the places where you can truly be at one with nature.

I could tell you where to find these places....... but I'm not going to........ because if I did some bugger would probably open up a tea room and start charging admission.
Nature at its best - pure and untouched --Beautiful images in a lovely composed collage !

Beautiful, nothing quite like and I love your composition. In Suffolk we too have some areas of ancient woodland like this. Your description is perfect! Fav!

@poetbernardyoung The rich don't stray into the woods much these days. Probably wise on their part. :)
