Mevagissey Evening by swillinbillyflynn

Mevagissey Evening

Shot on 35mm film using one of my 50 year old Chinon CE-5 cameras.

Still loving my adventures in film photography. In fact this shot was one I worked on last night as a practical learning exercise in dodging and burning. This is all part of the evening class I'm doing in darkroom techniques, run by our local college. The darkroom facilities there are just fabulous.

I just hope that these sort of facilities do not disappear as the Government's austerity measures continue and the local Council spending cuts bite deeper.
So much atmosphere in this shot. Fav.

I agree with my old pal @barrioboy. I have to say though that I suspect that you take pleasure in making me homesick ;-)

There's a definite magic to film and this shot is very moody. I miss spending time in the darkroom!

Great shot Billy and wonderful processing. I used to develop my own too. It is good fun but I do prefer the less messy digital way! Mevagissey is looking lovely as always
