More reflections Mevagissey Harbour.
Yet another 35mm film shot taken on my vintage Russian FED Rangefinder Camera.
I am constantly frustrated that these shots lose so much quality when they are scanned and digitised. The 8"x10" prints just look so much better.
Viewing with the black background helps a bit. :)

Sgt. Pepper
Excellent. Have you thought of scanning at a higher resolution? Wojld make a huge file, but reducing the size might then improve the scanned quality.

Scanning at 600 DPI. I tried at 1,200 DPI but the resultant file is too big to upload. :)

Just a quick search came up with this (
http://www.graffiti.org/faq/scan.html
) not sure if it is helpful. The idea of scanning at 200% then resizing down seems to me to be an option. Just quickly skimmed through it, myself.
