At low tide Mevagissey inner harbour is transformed from a stunning picture postcard fishing village into a grey and murky muddy quagmire......
But don't be tempted to use this glorious mud for a rejuvenating face pack..... as it is mostly composed of rotting fish guts, seagull poo and diesel oil...... So far from having a beneficial effect on you skin, it will probably make you look twenty years older...... should you survive that is. :)
