Setting sail for Falmouth

Exciting times for us Pirates of St. Piran.

Not only did we release our new CD "Ship shape and Bristol fashion" on Monday which involved much fun and a rumbustious launch party, which some of us are still struggling to recover from..... We are also heading of to Falmouth on Friday for a the brilliant Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival. Six gigs over 3 days culminating with a slot on the main stage in event's square on the Sunday afternoon in front of crowds of thousands.

It is a great weekend if anybody is interested with 50 groups from all over the world ranging from the very traditional shanty crews to rebellious rocking pirate crews like ourselves.

If you are around, you can catch us at the following venues.

Friday June 17th
7-8pm - The Moor Stage outside the Seven Stars
9-10pm The Prince of Wales

Saturday 18th June
3-4 pm - Toast
7-8pm - Main stage - Custom House Quay
10 til late - 5 Degrees West

Sunday 19th June
2-3pm - Main stage Event's Square
5-6pm - We will be taking part with the festival Grand Finale on the Main stage in Events Square.

It really is a great event and a brilliant weekend if you can make it.
Great perspective, lines, composition...sounds like the making of a great weekend :)

I really enjoy your pictures. Get to see things that I don't normally see. We're landlocked where I live.
