At the end of the Beaver Island Garden Tour today (where I continued as their official photographer), there was a luncheon for participants on the grounds of the medical center, where a group has been working to create a connection of flower beds. I stalked this butterfly through the gardens until it finally lit and stayed put for several seconds. I was excited about this shot because the body was so clear and you can even see its blue eye! And after all the garden photos, I thought I should post at least one of them on 365.
Next step -- process all the garden tour photos and turn into an online book for them!
For one of the photos processed and posted for bww, see other album for today: http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2013-07-10
Wonderful shot, Taffy! The details, colors, and focus are fantastic! You have your work cut out for you with the editing and posting. Beaver Island is lucky to have you as their resident ace photographer!
@jodimuli Thanks Jodi -- I just went and looked. It's exciting that they are both on there so thanks for letting me know. I'll have nice dreams tonite!
Oh yes you´re right, the details are fabulous, never seen their eye before! Beautiful marvellous capture! Love butterflies but I have no patience to chase those. Great job!
So lovely. Great shiny, bright, sharp colorful image. You did great, Taffy, chasing this beautiful creature to get tired of you ;) and looked for a place to take it's breath so you could get it captured!
@nana2r@elisasaeter@archaeofrog Thanks Carren, Elisabeth, and Katie for the comments. Thanks for the fav's too, Carren and Elisabeth. Katie -- I think the book will be really fun to do (I did one last year for them just as a gift to the person organizing it and think that is why she asked me to be the official photographer this year). I'll see if I can post a link when it's done.
@eyesmile Thanks for the fav, Gena -- it's exciting to see it on PP and when I was showing a friend how to sign into the sight, I saw it on the landing page! I never see that since I'm always logged in.
Ann, thanks so much! It's such a treat!
@38dcmoder THanks so much Dawn!
