Crown Fountain by taffy

Crown Fountain

This is a different perspective of the Crown Fountain that I posted on the 23rd http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2013-09-23 that usually has faces several stories tall. Tonite, instead the faces section was lit in different colors which showed off the water pouring down. I liked the scene with the reflections and people walking by in the dark.

I love your night shots with the lights. I am too nervous to go out alone at night with my camera so I miss lovely scenes like this. The fountain looks so different ,- how lovely that it is a constantly changing piece of art work!

Wow, that's some fountain. Must be quite something to see. The people walking by really shows how large the fountain is!

Love that atmosphere and reflections, very cool this one too. I really like your new style, these city pics of yours. And yeah, I have the same problem, very little time during the week to comment etc, missing few days but will catch up eventually.

Kim
This makes for a great abstract.

@maggiemae Thanks Maggiemae! The fountain has faces which change, but only faces, I thought, until the night I took this photo. I don't know if I was there as they were turning it off or something, or if at a certain time it moves from faces to a light - show effect.

@susale Thanks Suse -- I'm loving that you think of my city shots as a style!

It's a great feature that they can put up faces or just do color. That way their installment always looks different. Nicely captured.

While the face side invites engagement and interaction with the images, this view projects calm and serenity. Nice capture!

Neat shot! I light the lighting of the waterfall and the pond! It creates an interesting contrast of light and dark!
