On our own, Junko and I did a NYC walk today before leaving for the conference, with the main goal being an exhibit at the NYC main library. On our way, these buildings stood out to me. I love all the squares, lines, and angles and the way the building on the right seems to merge right into the one on the left. And weirdly, the building on the left is an exact copy of the Bank of America building in Chicago. Of course, New Yorkers would probably claim theirs was built first.
Of we did! This is at corner of Ave of Americas and about 43rd St/42nd. I too have noticed and shot "The Merging Buildings". Great pov on this Taffy. Hope you liked the Library.
Fantastic shot! Wish I could get to the city and meet you- but I'm exhausted from my Vt. trip and we have company visiting today! Have a wonderful time in the Big Apple!
This is the kind of shots I love...architecture and geometry / pov / intersections. How interesting the reflection of the building on the left which seems to appear through the building on the left, as if this was see-through. (Hope I made myself clear...it's so complex to express elaborate artistic ideas and appreciation in a foreign language!!!)

Great architectural abstract. You did fantastically well with the last challenge I set you, so I wonder if you can do as well again. I wanted to choose something completely different this week - so your challenge is food photography. Good luck.
@busylady I hadn't thought about this, but you're right...Escher-like (but not nearly as good as his art, of course!) in its feel to this. Thanks for your view and comment!
@mara19500 Mara, thanks for your comments (which make total sense) and fav! I really appreciate it as you have such an amazing set of architecture shots in your album.
