Work demands are high at the moment so my 'canvas' is the walk to and from the college. On my way to school to day, I saw this pigeon pacing away and it just struck me as funny. I also found the colors of its feathers appealing. I know they are basically vermin, but .... this one seemed sort of cute.
Thank you all so much for your wonderful response and fav's on my "Not Rush Hour" shot of the empty station. It was on PP today -- so many many thanks for your fav's and comments!

He is a colourful pigeon! Love his stride - he does look like he is on a mission! It must be hard to keep up with your shots when you are so busy at work!
I am not sure if Amrican pigeon is different from NZ pegion or not. I can see the neck is the same, but I don't remember the feathers are like this. I need to check it out tomorrow.
I know what you mean about vermin, and they are such greedy, aggressive birds too... but this one does look kinda funky and great for a quick grab shot!
Lovely capture of the rich variety of colours. Here in South Africa they are called "Feral Pigeons" and they're much less of a nuisance (or "vermin") than they seem to be over there. In SA I would tend to call Indian Mina's "vermin"! (I'll try to get a picture of one of them some time)
I can relate to the work demands. /sigh Very nice capture of the pigeon (rock dove) on her way to wherever pigeons go when they're on the move! Nice lighting, and the metallic colors in her neck are excellent.
In gray and white.
