What a difference a thousand miles makes! Instead of frigid weather, ice, snow, more snow, more ice, cold, etc....This is the beach where we are visiting with friends who have rented a house on the Atlantic coast of Florida, almost touching Georgia. It's quite stunning and, as you can see, pristine and pretty empty this time of year. The pier in the distance is about 3/4 of a mile walk. I'm hoping to take an 'under the pier' shot sometime this weekend -- one of my bucket list items.
Thank you for your wonderful response to the two shots I took on my way home last night, of the river and the subway! I'm excited to have something new to post for the next few days, though.
Have a good weekend all!
PS -- it's soooo nice not being cold!

I'm sure you are enjoying Not being cold. Welcome to Florida... too bad is so far from Miami... are you planning to come south? This is a very pretty capture and I look forward to see your pier shot.
@anazad511 Thanks Ana! This is a quick visit. We'll only be on Amelia Island with a day trip to Jeckyll Island to see some friends there. Then back to the cold and ice after the weekend!
So beautiful!!! I am so happy you are able to get away from the horrendous winter you are having. This is such a wonderful sight to see! Enjoy my friend!
Brilliant Taffy. Sorry I have not looked in on your project for a while. Not enough hours in the day etc. Love this though, Has to be a Fav. Congrats on No. 1 last week too!
@seanoneill Thanks for the fav, Sean!! I have an 'industrial shot' today from the paper mill here that I've been referring to as my Sean Shot. I'll post this week and tag you, but have to convert first to b&w.
Nicely framed with the pier at the end of the beach.
