Today was a joy to be outdoors from morning til night -- walking the beach, visiting friends on Jekyll Island and playing golf (or playing at it more accurately), and knowing we are far away from yet another snow storm hitting Chicago today. I took this photo tonight after the sun had set, using my tripod for an exposure of just under a minute. Then upped the saturation just a bit. You can see the stripe of waves between the reeds.

Amazing image Taffy! Beautiful light and tones and just perfect! FAV. Thought about you today. On one of the mornings shows this AM they talked about the best islands to visit in the Continental USA. Beaver Island was one of them. Looks lovely and I know how much you love it there.
This is beautiful Taffy, a must to be viewed on large. The tone and light is gorgeous. Your photography has just got better and better and this is another Fav! And how cool to hear BI talked about -- we've just been approved (last fall) to be a designated birding trail (I"m not a birder, but this is apparently a really big deal) and the unveiling is this May.
