This is an HDR from three photos of the bridge, a reinforced concrete open spandel arch bridge that was built in 1932 as part of the public works projects, during the U.S. Great Depression. It's now part of the coastal road that goes along the Pacific in Big Sur -- a 63 mile span of winding coast road that is known for its spectacular scenery.
Thank you all for putting two of my photos in the Top Twenty this week. I'm just so grateful for the support you have given me -- it's so motivating and reinforcing.

Fabulous shot of a beautiful scene, Great composition and light, the processing is great, if you hadn't said it was HDR I probably wouldn't have noticed.- fav
Excuse me lady, I can't keep up with you... last weekend you were in Florida, and now in California?! Wonderful... keep doing it... don't worry about me... LOL. I absolutely love that ride along that coast. Great capture.
What a FANTAVULOUS view. You are in my favorite place! Tried this road in our RV once...not a good for RVing. What a great POV you had for this shot. Amazing. = FAV
@redy4et We walked by it (coffee shop/bakery) our last night there but didn't get a chance to go. It looked amazing! We'll definitely be back as it was a great place for us to meet up (one from Montana, one from Hawaii, and me -- so it's about equi-distant). And that's on my list now - but I need to diet before I go!!
@pamknowler Thanks for you fav and nice comment, Pam. Carmel and the Big Sur coast has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. We were so lucky to have chosen this for our meetings (we did so because it meant about equal flight time for each of us) but now that we've been there, we think it's a perfect place to meet again!
@eyesmile I did the driving on the Big Sur trip and eek -- in an RV it would be terrifying!! It was bad enough being in a somewhat larger SUV than I'm used to! It is gorgeous, though, so worth it no matter how it's done.
Great landscape, Taffy! And terrific HDR...really an art to get HDR looking this natural! Well done! Wish you had an even wider angle view to include a bit more of the ocean on the right...
Congrats on the two TT shots! Well deserved!
It's a fav
@julzmaioro The cloud was the first thing I saw too!
