Sunday's narrow gauge railway trip from Cairns to Karunda -- a small village in the mountains above t his gorge. Then, a cable car through the rainforest back down to Cairns. Fun day and tons of photos to go through someday.

@tomtom Here's one of my favorite shots, from the train, I think (not sure - will have to check timing) on the way up. What beautiful scenery -- thanks for the suggestion as I feel like it was the right order to do the train/skyrail.
Awesome shot Taffy. I have the same exact photo of Barron River..lovely capture. River is bit low, but during the wet season the river is a torrent of water. I am glad you went up on the train and down on the Skyrail. Glad you had a great day, and it wasnt raining.
@tomtom Andrew the markets are on every day from 8-5 including the shops, there are many sections of markets. You can spent the day there looking, spending, eating and watching.
@888rachel I really liked Karunda, and today was exciting from a work standpoint as we closed out the work at the school for the week. Everyone was so nice! Flight to Adelaide tomorrow, some more talks, but some more photo walks too which will be fun. Thanks again for Friday -- and it really was so wonderful to meet you in person!
