Yet another photo from Tennessee's trip to the Smoky Mountain National Park (still have hundreds to go through). I'd posted this one on Flickr and the most amazing thing happened. It was picked up by a group called Explore and in about 24 hours went from the normal 25 views or so at the most to over 1100 views! That was pretty exciting so I thought I'd post it in my 365 main album. As you'll probably notice, it's from the same spot but a little later than my shot of the golden hills -- and more during the blue hour that Daryl and Junko had posted. It was such a perfect evening there!
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Looking forward to starting Jerry's One-Night-Stand challenge tomorrow -- check it out! http://365project.org/discuss/general/26630/time-for-a-one-night-stand
Wonderful shot, congrats on the 1100 views I can see why. I am seeing some incredible shots this year from the Smokies. all the rain and fog is magical and icing on the cake for photographers.
Wow, how exciting that must have been. Well deserved too. I have a picture that I took that is similar to the one I posted from my tablet while on the trip. Saving it for that day when I look and there is nothing good to post.
And congrats on Explore! I've had two images make Explore and it is very exciting. My last one to make Explore had over 10,000 views in a very short period of time.
@darylo I took so many too -- and it kept changing throughout the afternoon in amazing ways when looking back on it. What a fun place to have spent our first full day!
I saw The Martian today, what a great movie especially with the 3D glasses!
