What Waits Beneath the Drain Cover

Not a natural half and half but instead half and half if we could see what waits for us below.
Thanks for your kind comments and favs for my fountain image. Jim and I are off for 2 weeks to visit friends in France with intermittent Internet. I've promised Jim it won't be (primarily) a photo trip but will post and peek in when I can. Wishing everyone a good few weeks.
