Not Grumpy, Just Missing My Friends

I visited the trail where there were so many frogs just a few weeks ago and was amazed to see only three. This little fellow looked rather lonely, hiding amongst the leaves on the bank of the pond.

Great shot - and he looks healthy enough - makes you wonder where everybody else has gone?. Is your weather starting to cool down? Our winter was so warm that we had tadpoles in ponds on the rock all through winter!! And the snakes didn't hibernate!! All very weird.
