Turtle thoughts: "I'm relaxing on the 6th hole, thinking the golfers must finally be gone. Suddenly, three of them show up and one sticks an iPhone in my face. A second one says that no one can take a swing until I'm moved. So undignified to think of them moving me, so I take off. But one of them lifts me up in the midst of my escape, and takes me to some trees. They were too impatient! I would have made it there on my own. I can't wait til they all go away!"
Note: Shot taken on the Beaver Island golf course. Turtle's description of events is pretty accurate. Wishing everyone a good weekend!
Love the story-line, so funny. Better that than than the howling southwesterlies we played in today, and those after pelting torrents of rain. Bunkers full of water, stroke round, bah-humbug, bring on tomorrow.
Humans! They think world it's theirs and pretend not to know we were there for millennia and will be there after they will be extinct... (second thought of the turtle)
Love the disdainful expression!
The low pov you've used is ideal.
We had a tortoise when I was little - when they want to hustle they have a brisker turn of speed than they're usually given credit for.
"Red-Eared Terrapin"...they're movers when they have a mind to! Back in my college years I found one crossing the highway, so I popped it in the car "and moved her to Arizona"! We already had a yard populated with turtles and tortoises, so she found a happy home... (The 67th floor of a downtown high rise would not have been a convenient turtle dwelling!}

Did it lose its way? Lovely shot. Fav
(I love his colourings)
