While the weather never cleared while I was in Wyoming, we made the best of it during free time on each side of the conference. The aspen trees were turning golden -- a treat to see and this was one of the clearest opportunities to photograph.
Thanks for putting the cattail (i.e., bullrush) shot on TT this week -- much appreciated! I am back in Chicago tonight and heading to Beaver Island tomorrow, where I will enjoy catching up on posting and commenting.
The trees look at their best in this golden yellow attire. I worry that when we visit New England in a couple of weeks time, we will be too late to see the fall colours.
@helenhall I think it will be good. We were at 9000 feet so the colors would turn more quickly. On BI, which is at sea level pretty much, though northern Michigan, the colors have barely started to pop.
