The milkweed plants are gifts that keep on giving -- so much fun to photograph and then play with during processing. This was mostly done using Textures, with a little PS and LR thrown in. No two images are alike because the the way the wind was blowing the seedlings.
@lynnz You are SO right!! I must have taken about 35 - 40 of them, as the wind was blowing, and I've deleted about 20 so far. But I must admit that the remaining have been fun to process, so I think that's the trick. They have to have some sort of shape or action to make them interesting. One of the photos I took was of one that looks like it has eyes and is nurturing a smaller one. Still working on that one!
I really like this image, very wispy-ethereal as is, could be very mysterious with a little more processing. Great use of muted colour to highlight the white filaments.
@lesip What a good idea! I wonder if I could do that up here, as they clearly can grow here, even in less that optimal soil. If you figure out how to plant the seeds or have any advice, I'd appreciate it!
