Feeling like this little milkweed seat jumping off on a dreamy (I hope) new adventure. Tomorrow is final day for packing up and closing down Beaver Island house. Saturday we fly off, then drive down to Chicago (well, to Bill & Junko's). Sunday night we plan to stay in the condo even though it isn't really ready (see below's document shot). Camera gear is packed...it really is the end of 'BI2017' for us, but hopefully the start of being finally 'home.'
May not be on 365 for a bit, or if I am, I shouldn't be! But one always needs a little escapism. Apologies in advance for minimal commenting probably for the next 3 - 4 weeks.

An excellent shot to farewell Beaver Island. Fantastic news to hear you're finally going home to your condo. Look forward to hearing/seeing all about it once you've settled in. Au revoir for now.
Beautiful and hopeful shot to symbolize your next adventures. So much busy! Very exciting, to see that you both are heading to "home." At long last. :)
Magical. What a time you have ahead. I hope all runs smoothly. We have moved house 16 times including 3 international moves so know how hectic life can be right at the end of each move. Take some time to smell the roses though.
Finally! I love reading your list and am hoping all goes to plan! Remember to take a breather now and then to recharge your batteries! I am so excited for you and Jim - your new home at last! Your nomadic life can end! Like Daryl @darylo I hope to visit some day! Fav for your gorgeous image!
Exciting times! Although I don't envy you your 'to do' lists! Super photo. Hope to see you from time to time on 365 over the next few weeks. Good luck with it all!
Lovely shot - magical !! Such busy and rewarding time ahead . May all go to plan and yo do remember to take a breather from time to time -- All best wishes to you both in your new home ! :)
I have never encountered someone having such a long wait to get into a condo caused mostly by prior tenants. You have the patience of Job. I hope it is every thing you want and need.
I am exhausted just reading the lists! All the very best for the transition and hope it all goes to plan. Fly away, Taffy, on the wings of the milkweed seed and safe landings in Chicago.
Very delicate image. You've been a such a long journey since the fire and we would hope that you would take some time to do this moving thing and join us back at 365 when you're ready! Excited to see the photos!
Wow- busy days ahead!! Your comments will be missed of course, but certainly understandable! The Milkweed about to fly off fits very well- safe travels and "happy" moving!
