Jim played chef tonight in a big way, making cioppino from scratch, including a trip to the fish market, picking up herbs, and creating the broth. I cleaned the clams and peeled the shrimp, so wasn't totally useless. And of course, I had the camera for the important shots!
PS Many thanks for the kind comments on the photo of my mom and friends. She's back in Colorado, and I think she had a good visit.
Wow. How cool to see that being made, and what a lovely collage of images! Good for Jim - that looks like a big task and the result looks fabulous! Just as well you were there to record it!
A beautifully presented triptych , with the finished dish as the main image ,This could grace any glossy illustration in a Cookery book -- it looks so delicious -- the 1st way to eat is with your eyes ! -and it certainly has tempted my taste buds . Well done to Jim nd to you for the photography -- fav
Wow look at this fabulous dish - so mouthwatering!! A great collage showing Jim at work. I have never heard of this dish Taffy and now need to find out about it and taste it!! Can I only get it in Chicago? LOL!! Fav!
Like Pam, I had never heard of the dish before. Had to look it up.Since I'm not a big fan of seafood I don't think I would enjoy it but my husband would love it!
I am going to have to google that name, I've never heard of it. Though I am allergic to shellfish, so I am guessing it wouldn't be one for me, but I'll send my husband over as a taster if you like! He loves it.
That all looks very sophisticated and delicious. The work in progress is nicely presented here, and I am pleased to see he was enjoying a glass of white as he worked.
