The moon and clouds were fairly impressive tonight, and I can't do them justice. This was taken with a telephoto as the moon passed by the antennae of the Sears (Willis) Tower.

I like the two components of the image - that lovely silvery moon with its aura and its effect on the clouds and then the contrast of the man-made golden spires in the opposite corner..
Your clouds are fabulous, mine were fast moving thin ones that just got in the way of the moon! This is a wonderful capture of the scene before you. Oh my.
@stray_shooter I was on the 33rd floor with my lens at 300mm pointed slightly up. I had missed the moon lower in the sky (it moves quickly!), so I focused on spires of the Sears Tower in manual, but spot metered the moon to avoid it being totally blown out.
