I'll be posting photos from our Palouse trip for weeks to come, but this image marks the end of the trip officially, heading home on the plane. Not sure which river this is (Columbia? Wilamette? other?) but these are Mt. St Helena with it's decapitated top from its eruption several years ago, with Mt. Ranier in the distance. To the left was Mt Hood and to the right, Mt Adams. All in all, it was quite a scene and I was so glad I had a window seat and was on the correct side!
Thank you for your lovely response to my Palouse photos. So much appreciated!
What a fantastic viewpoint of such iconic landscape. I especially like seeing Mt St Helena after following its eruption on the news here a few years ago. Safe trip home to you!
What a great sight to leave your trip with. You have taken some stunning scenes and I look forward to seeing many more. I hope your trip was as happy and rewarding as it looks.
OMG! What a stunning view! How lucky to be able to see this yet alone get a fabulous shot of it! Safe journey! I’m looking forward to seeing more Palouse images! Fav of course!
Stunning landscape with those two snow-capped mountains included. Very interesting to see Mt St Helens post-eruption (made the news here bigtime). Well done on getting the box seat on your flight.
This is simply stunning. You certainly were on the right side! Love the water running through, the blue in the scene and then the white mountains. Big fav!
