Layers in Nature - v1 Color

Returning to the Palouse for a bit as I continue to work through hundreds of photos. This was from 'Day 2.' We spotted this row of trees and Jane did a quick stop on the side of the road. It ended up being one of my favorite spots of the day. Still fabulous - but the colour steals the waves. However, it gives you something in return - the most amazing rythmn in the foreground section!

Both are fabulous...but in black&white, it is much more dramatic and confuses the eye as to what you are seeing...very cool!
