Our hotel in Berkeley was along the Marina, next to a state park with trails along the waterfront of the Bay. On a clear day, we could see San Francisco, the Bay Bridge, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Emphasis on the idea of a clear day, which we never quite had. We did have some beautiful weather, but at best the bridges 'peeked' out at us.
