Back from a weekend in NYC spent with friends and only my iPhone and P&S. This was taken on a visit to the NY Public Library - quite a spectacular building.
The long corridor , the shiny surfaces , the light at the end of the corridor , the lone figure with the dark shadow , somehow quite eerie ! A great pov and shot ! Taffy - fav
Your work proves beyond any doubt that it's the photographer, not the camera, that's the key element in a good image. This is just wonderful, so much depth, great lighting and such symmetry.
Did you convert in silver efex? And did you do any toning? There is someth8ng about the way you process b and w images that makes them really pop...almost as if printed on metal. Wish I knew how you do it
@jgpittenger Thank you! For this one I did convert it in Silver Efex but I also tweaked in light room. I don’t really know how I do what you see in it. Just eyeballing really.
