A Branch

A different take on the Grand Canyon. The dead trees were quite remarkable. This was taken against a blue sky, then cropped and converted to b&w.
I've been enjoying the mirrorless Nikon but can't download any images until the card reader arrives today. And my camera will be ready in about 2 weeks!

@lesip It was the shutter system so it had to be replaced. Unfortunately in the 610 it was more expensive than other models and had to be special ordered, but in the grand scheme of things, it was worth repairing. Thanks for asking!

Elegant! Only two weeks... that’s great. I had to ship mine off for a new shutter last year and it took several months! Once you get a new shutter, it’s almost like a new camera. :)

Very dramatic minimalist shot. Looks a little like a hand. Wonder what it would look like in square format. I was thinking back to the Johnathan Critchley stuff I saw and tried out a while ago. Just a thought.
