What to do when we can't sleep? Process photos from the past. I took this the morning of extreme fog during the Grand Canyon trip with @jyokota, @jgpittenger. It took a little work tease the color and formations out of the fog, but I was pleased at the way this turned out. It was my favorite morning there even though most of it was simply solid gray or white fog, with nothing to be seen.
@moonmtn Thank you! Yes, I did use LR Dehaze and also clarity a bit. In fact, I probably used several of the sliders in some way or another, as well as exported to Luminar. It was one of those photos where RAW data really made a difference as the SOOC version was quite bland.
I like the unique view of this shot- most people prefer the sunny days where all the colors jump out at you but the soft colors and fog are so pretty and different.
Wonderful edit...a wallhanger for me. I like the soft subtlety contrasting with the iridescent light. Well done with the processing. I like it lots more than mine
