Winter Trees

A wintry scene from our Botanical Garden walk after the orchid exhibit. It's hard to believe this is just 20 minutes outside the city limits.

Are they silver birch with those bright narrow trunks? The dark presentation works really well and everything conspires to take the eye to the corner and wonder what is beyond. Love those clouds dipping down over the path.
