Amaryllis in the Round on Dark

Both @rosiekerr and @beryl wondered about yesterday's amaryllis on a dark background, which provides an interesting contrast to the one I posted yesterday.
And in extras, I saw the very rare event of a sunrise over the lake and city (not rare in occurrence but rare in my being awake at that time). It really was beautiful to see - https://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2020-02-03

The darker one shows more texture and detail but it doesn’t have the artistic feel of yesterday’s image which I loved!

Much stronger and more attention is paid to texture. But I like this bright is so delicate.

This one shows the details and the structure of the petals so well but I still prefer yesterdays version - with its white on white image , giving the image a softer , dreamy and more artistic qualities ! ,
