Today was a day of intriguing skies as Fog and Sun seemed to be at odds with one another, each trying but failing to take over for the day. Over several rounds, each had a chance to dominate, but this was my favorite as Fog seemed to be trying to sneak in from below across Lake Michigan.
Combination of 9 images taken in portrait with my 105mm on my D610, then merged to panorama in Lightroom. Cleaned up in Photoshop, and finalized in LR.
Totally fabulous -Super job of merging those shots - the details doesn't miss a beat - great clarity - Love the fog on the right side creeping around that building.
the fog over lake is so fascinating to watch especially as they roll in towards the city, same as in toronto's lake ontario. i see the castle getting enveloped by the fog. i must try this lightroom thing. i've been jealous of your very straight buildings. aces!
Such a detailed capture of the unusual scene -- I like seeing the fingers of the fog creeping in. (I'm not sure I'd keep that building on the far left. I might have cropped it off so the end of the scene trails off with the distant buildings.)
You've taken another fabulous cityscape! I'm with the others- I like the fog curling around the buildings on the right. I also agree with Junko- I'd take off that sliced building on the left. I don't mind the ones in the distance but the one that's on the edge makes me want to fill it in or take it off.

Here you go! I decided I liked this crop as well as it gives a stronger diagonal from upper right to lower left. Thanks for the suggestion.
Nice panorama. I have to say, that I liked the inclusion of the buildings on the top left. They give the distance perspective and terminate the view well.
