I don't know what this is except it was growing in the 'Prairie" section, so I guess I could say it's a prairie flower! I liked that this one flower segment had so many different phases, from close to open buds, to flowers in different degrees of blossoming.

Beautifully captured to show off all aspects of this flower and its elegant shape! I also photographed the same one but from the other side, so it didn't have this kind of beauty to it.
