Rustic Sourdough Bread by taffy

Rustic Sourdough Bread

Haven't tasted it yet, so who knows, but I liked how it came out. First time I've baked in a Dutch oven, having created the shape by using the form that is supposed to put rings around the top as a pattern (didn't work).
With lightning and thunder outside, today is probably an indoor day so am planning to try to catch up on all kinds of things -- 365 the most fun, cleaning the refrigerator the least!
If it tastes as good as it looks, it is going to be amazing.

Nice capture. I went bread crazy back in the spring. For several months I had homemade bread available every day. Then it got hot and I didn't want so much bread nor did I want to bake. Perhaps when the temperatures cool off a bit.

That looks delicious.

How long did you leave it to rise in the form?
September 5th, 2020
@stephomy Thanks!
First rise (not in form) was 2 hours, second rise, in the form, was 90 minutes. More or less...

Looks delicious! I really should get back to baking bread. I used to do it all the time when Jeff and I were first married.
