Tunnels are common along the lakefront, connecting the city, parks, and lakefront paths without having to cross heavy traffic. It was nice to see folks out and about and about 90% wearing masks. Our numbers continue to rise in dangerous levels, so it's a relief when I see evidence that people are taking care of one another while being able to enjoy the outdoors.
I love tunnels--cool image! I think numbers all over are on the rise. Except the US, of course. 45 has assured us we've got this thing handled. -cough- Looking forward to 46...
Nice shot... love the framing, leading lines and action leading to and from the scene... glad so many people are being responsible and wearing masks... we need all the help we can get to beat this pandemic.
for some reason or other, i get the updates from the chicago tribune on my computer, so i am uptodate with the chicago and illinois COVID coverage; the numbers are staggering. ours here are rising and higher than when the pandemic started, but of course compare to your population, our alarmingly dangerous counts are just a miniscule portion of yours over there. i'm afraid we still have a long way to go, if the medical authorities here are to be believed. stay safe, miss taffy. aces on the shot.
Such a lot of great textures here. Yes the virus is taking hold again here in the UK. I hope Biden gets to bring some hope for beginning to fight and control the virus!
I love this in B&W photo. People locally all wear face masks shopping but not out walking around our neighborhood. I grocery shop and walk and hubby works from home and grocery shops once in a while with me. We turned 65 this year and his health is not great. Covid is a scary thing. I have known 4 people with it, one continues to have terrible stomach problems after her July diagnosis in Texas.
