Bursting Out

Along the river, a number of the buildings are now lit for the holiday season. I used my zoom to create ICM to play with this building and its reflections in the river.

Awesome capture and effect. Do you just rotate the zoom as you snap the photo.

@rickster549 Exactly. Set it at about a second or so . . too much and you lose the original structure's sense. Too little and there's not enough burst. Best to be on a tripod or solid surface so that the lines don't wobble. Have fun with it!

@jnadonza ICM = Intentional Camera Movement, by using a zoom lens and turning it while the shutter is open (about a second or a little more).
