After several weeks of haze from fires, then just miserable weather, the skies were clear and the Milky Way in a nicer position and earlier (10:30 instead of midnight). I met my neighbors down on the beach so it was a fun evening of sky-viewing (all of us) and photography (me).
Very good. Lucky you to live where the Milky Way is visible. Such an incredible sight. The light pollution where I live (Vancouver BC) is massive and I have to drive many miles to see something like that.
