No need to comment. Thanks to all who have offered their thoughts about the previous 2 versions, especially Jane and Helen with their very specific suggestions. This is the third version, taking into account and applying as many suggestions as possible. It keeps the foliage, reduces the foreground rocks substantially, maintains the longer expanse of the rock wall, and removes the tree and other 'noise' to the left of the root system. I did want to keep the roots and the waterfalls as the primary foci, and hope they are not more in balance. I also liked the log leading to the falls, so kept that as it was. Thanks all!
Looking at all 3 again. I feel this one is much better. You are more focus on the tree roots and textures of the rocks on the right side, which leads to the waterfall behind it.
Yes, this one works best for me. I see enough of the overall image (which I didn't in version 2) and you've taken out the 'extra' tree on the left, which I prefer. It's amazing what small changes in crop can do for an image!
