Like this heron who flew up in front of me (so convenient!), I thought I'd stop in to say hello and wish everyone a happy/healthy season. Hoping for better in 2022 than we've had the past 2 years!
My new computer is up and running -- what a joy to have a computer that does not randomly crash! Lightroom photos migrated to a new reliable rugged hard drive - another joy to have a drive that does not randomly eject itself. The printing course is behind me and was very worthwhile experience. We're planning for our upcoming trip to St Augustine FL for a few weeks of escaping winter weather and seeing some of our Beaver Island friends. While it still feels very busy it's all good so far.

Happy New Year to you Taffy. I think everyone hopes that 2022 is an improvement on the past two years although I can recall everyone thinking the same thing about 2021 this time last year.
After a year of posting every day, I am going to become a very irregular contributor in 2022. The last couple of months have been a real struggle.
@terryliv I've found the time away to be what I've needed. I'm planning to take another few weeks before a 'real' return, and will just see how it feels in the new year and our FL trip. Best to you -- we all really need to see some changes to the good in 2022!
