This was about a half hour after the photo I posted last time. Thank you all for your wonderful comments and favs! We didn't see any more of the picket fences, as I've learned they are called, just the muted greens and magentas. But the stars stood out more in this situation. The northern lights in the other image were basically in the cup of the big dipper.
I didn't pick it out at first but after looking at it on black I could pick out the dipper. Those three bright stars in a row were the clue to finding it.
I am ever amazed at your night sky photography. You can barely see more than one or two stars in the sky here. And the sky looks so fresh and clear. Big fav.
