I have literally hundreds of photos of the arched porticos that are throughout the city of Bologna. Each set is architecturally distinct and leads to dramatic scenes as we walked around the city. The arches repeat and repeat as far as the eye can see. This was an unusually empty one as usually the areas are filled with people.
Love how the repetition of columns receding into the photo draw one into the photo ! I love architecture (got a degree in Interior Design about a hundred years ago). Great photo and a fav!
