This red fox lives on the northern-most island of Japan, Hokkaido, where I recently returned from a photo workshop emphasizing landscapes and wildlife. Snow conditions were terrific and I have photos I'll be processing for months/years. THis was one of my favorite of the fox images because it combined some of the elements of the landscape as well. Traveled with @jyokota and two others, along with our leader (Alyce Bender Photography - she's on FB and Instagram if curious) and driver, so a very special way to see and photograph the area.
Good to see you back again. What a great wildlife photo. I do love foxes, but they aren't popular here. I know they can mean trouble but so can most of our own wildlife.
He popped his head out at the perfect time.
Looking forward to your photos from your trip!
