I did a workshop in Tucson in May to learn more about night sky photography and one of the other participants was using a camera she'd had converted for astrophotography. I had an older Nikon Z6 I hadn't been using and had it converted. This is my first attempt using it, during the Perseids Meteor Showers on Aug 13th-14th. It changes the color tones to reds, and is supposedly more sensitive to color if photographing stars and galaxies far away. I'm not sure how I'm going to like the effect, but it definitely is different!
As always, it's stunning! I can see why you wouldn't want to use it all the time with the coloring, but it would be a good change of pace from time to time, or something different to cause people to look more closely. I love your night photography from Beaver Island!
