Directions for Curves in Color/Colour

(Easier to read directions above when viewed large, but repeated more or less below for convenience).
Thanks to those of you who were interested in the original shot I posted yesterday - http://365project.org/taffy/365/2014-02-24. I hadn’t expected such interest, actually, so was really pleased! For those who wondered what it is or wanted to do something like this, here is what you need:
1. iPad with wallpaper of your choice
2. spoon
3. dark room
4. (ideally, but I did it handheld, which was awkward) tripod and remote shutter release
Then, all you do is take photos of the wallpaper reflected in the spoon, then crop to make it interesting and remove link to visual image of the spoon and ta-da, you have your abstract, as detailed above.
It's a spoonflection! Yay!

That's amazing! Thanks for sharing! So the whole finished image is the reflection in the spoon and none of the image from the ipad is included?
February 26th, 2014
@bella_ss The upper left curvy part is the spoon. In the lower left photo you can see the rectangular crop for the spoon and the wallpaper.

@rosiekerr oh great! I'd noticed tour icon and thought it had the feel of one of my shots. But I thought it was coincidence.
